The Westpark begins near the freeway 59 and Loop 610 in Houston and extends to the Grand Parkway 99 south of Katy and continues on to the west as FM 1093, an area about 30 miles from the center of Houston, Tx. Plans are underway to extend the Westpark along FM 1093 to Spring Green Road in the near future. It will eventually go to Fulshear as the area is outgrowing the current FM 1093..
Pecan Grove area
This "country area" has good access to Houston by several routes. Most of the Pecan Grove area is readily accessed by FM 359 which extends from US 90A on the south to FM 1093 and eventually I-10 west. The area has good access to US 90A from Harlem Road also. The area has access to the current middle of the Grand Parkway 99 by Farmer (Mason) road and Harlem Road to the Westpark Tollway, I-10 or US 59.
FM 1464 connects to the Wespark Tollway on the north with a short distance to State Highway 6. It meets the Grand Parkway 99 at the south end near US 90A to Houston.
Caution, all highways have become very crowded. If you must work 8 to 5, check out the traffic before you buy!
State Highway 6 comes from the greater Galveston area through the Sienna Planation area, Riverstone, First Colony and north through western Houston to US 290. Most places on Highway 6 are not desirable, especially during rush hours. A new tollway, the Fort Bend tollway, extends from Sienna past the Beltway 8 tollway to US 90. This is a very useful road for people living in this area.
