Jordan Ranch is a new master planned community located south of I-10 exit Igloo Road which is now Jordan Ranch Road to the south. Jordan Ranch homes will not be ready for sale until the fall/winter of 2016. There will be nine builders including Taylor Morrison, Weekley, Newmark, Plantation, Perry, Highland and Westin who will build 2800 homes on 1350 acres. The homes on this previous rice farm owned by the Jordan family will range in value from about $300,000 to $500,000. First homes are expected to be delivered to homeowners by the end of 2016.
Jordan Ranch will have an on-site elementary school, parks and a recreation center, as well as lakes, waterways and green spaces. Lamar Consolidated Independent School District will provide the public schools. Zoning has not been announced but there is an elementary school in Fulshear with Junior High School and High School under construction in Fulshear
The amenity center will include a fitness center, resort style pool, play area, picnic area and basketball court. There will be 200 acres of parks and lakes with interconnecting walking trails in this Johnson Development
