 Community Descriptions and homes for sale

Each area such as Katy Cinco Ranch West has descriptions of communities, schools and school zoning, highway information, golf, fitness, childrens sports and homes for sale.

The area above the Westpark Tollway is considered to be Katy Cinco Ranch and the area below the Wespark is considered to be Richmond and Pecan Grove. Each area displays current homes for sale. For your convenience those communities and homes for sale along the Westpark Tollway and FM 1093 are grouped together. Some of these are considered to be in Katy and some in Richmond. There are nine Pecan Grove area communities with homes for sale. Also communities along FM 1464 and south Grand Parkway 99 are not shown on the map. For these click on FM 1464 communities.

Click on the individual area to find communities and homes for sale in Cinco Ranch West and Cinco Ranch East in Katy. They are divided by the Grand Parkway 99. All communities are included, as well as, Cinco Ranch subdivisions. Most of the homes for sale are older in Katy Cinco Ranch East and most of the homes for sale west of 99 in Katy Cinco Ranch West are newer.

The FM 359 area has country acreage homes. These homes are in low density subdivisions usually with one to several acres in each homesite.

Schools, highway access, golf

Most of the Katy Cinco Ranch communites north of FM 359 and the Westpark Tollway are in Katy school district. Katy has four High Schools that serve the area and a new high school is being built. The High Schools are Katy High School, Cinco Ranch High School, Seven Lakes High School and Taylor High School. Most of the homes for sale south of the Westpark Tollway and part of the area near Fulshear are in Lamar Independent School Dist. This area has one high school at the moment which is Foster High School. Several elementary schools are available. Some of the north part of the Pecan Grove area and the east part of the Westpark Tollway has homes for sale in the Fort Bend Independent School District with Travis High School, Bowie Junior High School and several elementary schools.

This area has good highway access to Houston jobs. Interstate 10 highway is along the north side of the Cinco Ranch area and connects to western Houston. The Grand Parkway 99 highway currently connects Interstate 10 highway with US 59 highway. US 59 highway goes to southwest Houston. The Westpark Tollway is a highway that goes to west and southwest Houston. All of the highways cross State Highway 6 and the Sam Houston Tollway highway 8.

There are five golf courses in the area. See a description of each golf course and links to their websites in the various golf communites.  For tee times, golf academy, golf lessons etc. click on each golf course website.  The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch is a public golf course in Cinco Ranch on Cinco Ranch Blvd. east of 99.  The Willow Fork Country Club is nearby with golf and tennis and lots of activities.  Seven Meadows is a new golf community at 99 and the Westpark Tollway and features the Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club.  The Club at Falcon Point is near Katy Mills Mall.  The Pecan Grove Country Club is located on FM 359 in Pecan Grove. Greatwood golf course is located at US 59 and the Grand Parkway 99.
